Route & excellence: the second D’Ieteren Luxury Performance Rally

The second D’Ieteren Luxury Performance Rally brought together 20 exceptional cars for an exclusive journey from Belgium to Alsace and Switzerland.
From 22 to 26 September, guests experienced a curated programme of wellbeing, fine dining, driving and high watchmaking.
Participants were welcomed into the private worlds of BUGATTI, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Audemars Piguet.
The journey concluded with an exclusive test-drive experience featuring the Lamborghini Temerario, Bentley Continental GT, Maserati MC Pura & GT, Porsche 911 Turbo S and Porsche 911 GTS.
D’Ieteren Luxury Performance has once again transformed the road into an experience in its own right. For the second edition of its touring rally, we invited a select circle of clients to embark on an exceptional journey through Belgium, Alsace and the Swiss Vallée de Joux, where automotive passion met wellbeing, fine gastronomy and the rarefied world of watchmaking.
Limited to only 20 cars, the Rally D’Ieteren Luxury Performance was designed as a celebration of the things that make a journey truly memorable: finely chosen roads, remarkable addresses, meaningful encounters and the pleasure of sharing them with fellow enthusiasts. From 22 to 26 September, each stage revealed a new expression of excellence.

The adventure began in Belgium at the legendary Bains de Spa, a UNESCO World Heritage site where the elegance of a bygone era meets contemporary wellbeing. In this singular setting, guests enjoyed an evening infused with the sound of jazz and elevated by a tasting of exceptional whiskies, a fittingly refined start to a journey devoted to the art of living well.

From there, the route led south towards Alsace. Every kilometre had been carefully considered: the road book mapped out driving routes selected for their rhythm and scenery, while a region-inspired playlist added another layer to the experience behind the wheel. More than a rally, it was an ode to mechanical precision, craftsmanship and the simple pleasure of driving.

In Molsheim, the group checked in at the 5 Terres Hôtel & Spa, where contemporary five-star comfort and Alsatian character came together. A dinner celebrating local produce provided the perfect interlude before one of the journey’s most anticipated moments.
On 24 September, participants were granted exceptional access to the BUGATTI factory, an address normally closed to the public and reserved for the brand’s clients. At the birthplace of the world’s most exclusive hyper sports cars, guests discovered the BUGATTI Manufacture, the Château Saint Jean, the Orangerie and the new Tourbillon production line. Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, was there in person to lead a private tour and share lunch with our guests. It was an intimate look behind the scenes of a brand where artistry, engineering and uncompromising ambition are inseparable.

The road then turned towards the Vallée de Joux, the historic heartland of Swiss watchmaking. For two nights, the Hôtel des Horlogers offered a remarkable setting from which to explore a world shaped by patience, precision and an exceptional command of detail. Founded in 1857, the address provided more than hospitality, as it opened the door to the distinctive culture of the region.
That immersion deepened with privileged visits to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture and the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet. Guests explored celebrated collections, encountered the craftsmanship behind some of the world’s most admired timepieces and had the rare opportunity to try on exceptional watches. These were moments that echoed the values shared by fine watchmaking and automotive excellence: technical mastery, enduring design and the relentless pursuit of perfection.
A final surprise dinner, enjoyed alongside the participants’ own cars, brought this remarkable journey to a close. But there was one last thrill before the free return home. On Saturday 26 September, guests took the wheel of an exceptional selection of new models: the Lamborghini Temerario, Bentley Continental GT, Maserati MC Pura and GT, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and Porsche 911 GTS.
The second D’Ieteren Luxury Performance Rally really was about opening doors to worlds usually beyond reach, and sharing the road with people who understand that true luxury lies in experiences that cannot be replicated.
D’Ieteren Luxury Performance Rally. Exceptional roads. Privileged encounters. Unforgettable moments.
