The end of an era — production is over for Bentley’s W12
As Bentley makes a move towards a sustainable future, the historic W12 12-cylinder petrol engine that has dominated its models since 2003 is being retired.
Going out with a bang
While production may be ending as Bentley sets its sights on zero emissions, it is not without celebration. As part of the move Bentley produced the most powerful W12 engine yet and placed it in 18 sold-out Bentley Batur models.
A limited edition model to commemorate an icon
In addition to the Bentley Batur and with almost as much power, Bentley produced a run of 120 GT Continental Speed Edition 12 vehicles in a fitting tribute to the W12 engine. These models encompass so much more than unrivalled craftsmanship and ultimate performance, they’re a slice of history, paying homage to a Bentley icon.
The last Bentley W12 in Brussels
One of these last few vehicles with a W12 engine is now available in Brussels, a Continental GT Speed Edition 12 W12 in Midnight Emerald. This striking model features a metallic mid-tone green exterior with a contemporary blue shimmer, the interior is crafted in exquisite leather with Grand Black veneers, and at its heart is the historic engine, the last of its kind.
